Martin Roberts, the manager of the Commission’s partnership programs, spoke about the ASC Partnership programs in 5 sports and the work of the Australian Sports Outreach Program in 7 countries. Martin highlighted the obvious gap in funding for the middle band of sports activity that sits between community sport and the elite. He gave us his thoughts, based on years of experience in government, on how we might assist the process of additional funding for countries to use for sport for development.
