The International Safeguards for Children in Sport Working Group will be hosting a series of webinars to advocate for safe sport globally. As part of this upcoming series, the Pacific Sports Partnerships (PSP) will be presenting the Oceania Safe Sport webinar on Wednesday 30 September at 10am AEST (GMT+10), featuring guest speakers from sporting organisations across the Pacific with expertise in this area.
The objective of the webinar is to:
- Raise awareness on safeguarding and the international safeguards for children in sport and sport for development organisations,
- Support organisations to access effective safeguarding advice, support and resources,
- Encourage organisations to ‘take the pledge’ and commit to improving safeguarding standards within their organisation and across the sport and sport for development sectors.
We invite Asia-Pacific leaders from sport ministries, child rights and protection agencies, and national and international sport governing bodies to join this webinar. To register, please email: ASPP@ghd.com
