The Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) capped off a three-part Webinar Series for athletes in the Oceania region on 24 January. Athletes were supported through experts discussing conditioning levels, physical and mental health, and nutrition.
ONOC Secretary General, Ric Blas, was also part of the final webinar, which was organised under the Athlete Support Project.
The Project looked at assisting preparations of athletes who have qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and athletes who are still in the qualification stages for the Games.
The outcomes from the three webinars will now be reviewed between all parties to enhance the programme and support for upcoming webinars taking into consideration the extraordinary challenges athletes face in training during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
