This week, Team Up hosted the Gender and Disability Inclusion Workshop in Suva, bringing together in-country program staff from six sport for development programs.
Team Up also welcomed a range of sporting partners and stakeholders, providing a valuable platform to strengthen collaboration across the sport sector and reinforce our shared commitment to gender equality and disability inclusion.
In addition, Team Up also engaged experts like highly respected women’s rights advocate and longtime coordinator of the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre (FWCC), Shamima Ali, and Fijian disability rights advocate, Stephanie Dunn, to help build capacity and inspire practical actions within the sports community.
