The 2024 Oceania Athletics Championships will be conducted in Suva, Fiji, from June 1st until June 8th. In a world first, the Oceania Area, Para, and Masters Athletics Championships will be run together.
The Area Championships will be conducted in the Senior and Under 18 age categories. The Senior Championships will form a critical part of qualification towards the Paris Olympic Games and future World Athletics Series Events. The Under 18 Championships, will be the highest level of competition for Under 18 athletes to compete in across Oceania.
After the successful introduction of the Teams Challenge in 2022, it will be expanded to include the Under 16 and Under 20 Age Groups. For the first time in the world Oceania Para Athletics Championships, and Oceania Masters Athletics Championships will also be conducted in Suva. The Para Championships will be key part of the road to Paris Paralympic Games.
