NZ host BWF Disability Coaching Course

Over the weekend of May 5 and 6, Ian Bridge – Badminton Oceania’s Disability Consultant – delivered a BWF Disability Coaching Course in New Zealand which was held alongside a Para badminton player development camp.

This was the first time that this specialised course has been held in New Zealand, with the aim of developing players to a competitive international level.

Later this year the VICTOR Oceania Para Badminton Championships and the Western Australia Para Badminton International are being played consecutively in the stunning beachside town of Mandurah, Western Australia, where the end goal is hopefully being able to represent New Zealand at a Paralympic Games.
