During May and June, the Oceania Fencing Confederation (OFC) continued its online Level 1 Coaching Course in partnership with Global Fencing Masters (GFM). Twenty-five student coaches from Guam, PNG, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia meet fortnightly via Zoom to share experiences and learning. The OFC Coaching Commission is planning to provide face-to-face assessment of the candidates, which has already started with a successful trip to Guam in July.
The OFC was also very pleased to conduct the 2022 OFC Cadet Championships that took place in Sydney from July 1 to 2. This was a great success with Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia competing in some very exciting matches.
OFC Senior Championships will be held in Auckland from October 22 to 24 .
