Following the recently held Continental Union and World Taekwondo elections, the Oceania Taekwondo Council is now represented by nine (9) nations within the region, and importantly, six (6) females to provide a more gender equitable council moving forward.
World Taekwondo Oceania President, John Kotsifas, congratulated all previous and newly elected members to the Council and noted the challenge ahead in working together to achieve the objectives of Oceania Taekwondo moving forward leading into the 2023 Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands, and then the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
