Baseball, softball, and cricket are back for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles!
The 141st Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced additional sports included in the programme for the 2028 Summer Olympics. Baseball/softball, cricket (T20), flag football, lacrosse (sixes) and squash were all officially added.
This announcement has big implications for regional federations such as WBSC Oceania and ICC East Asia-Pacific, with athletes from Oceania setting their sights on the ultimate goal of representing at the Olympic Games.
