Oceania Athletics is pleased to announce the event grid and events on the World Athletics Continental Tour for 2024.
The Continental Tour within Oceania sees cooperation from both Australia and New Zealand to form a calendar and event grid, which will assist athletes in gaining much-needed ranking points to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games.
Following the success of the Maurie Plant Meet, it will once again highlight the season and be on the top tier of One Day Meetings, with Continental Tour Gold Status. The International Track Meet and the Sir Graeme Douglas Memorial, both held in New Zealand, will once again be Continental Tour Bronze Level.
There will be a further three Australian Meetings to Continental Tour Challenger level.
